Sneaker Freaker's Top 10 Most Stupidly Expensive Sneaker List Review

Sneakerfreaker.com has some great articles that have a lot of details behind each sneaker that they cover. Lot's of great looking images and content appears to be posted on this well running site. I am really beginning to like how they have it all put together over there and think they write some pretty good content.

So, I recently read one of their articles which they had a list of 10 of the most stupidly high priced sneakers money can buy and yet, they are still around. I think after giving it a look around and studying it and seeing what they had to say, I can pretty much agree with what they are saying about some of them. So I wanted to bring you guys this article over it and let you guys know what it's all about. Let's get started.

#1 - Air Jordan 11 Blackout.

Now the Air Jordan 11 model is still one of those that has some great colorways but yet, there are a few that may not be worth what many pay for, and one of those happens to be the AJ 11 Blackout. The blackout colorway actually does do a good job on this sneaker, I do think the design is a good fit, However, the retail chase price of these happens to be a whole another factor. The shoe apparently is priced at $11,267. This isn't gonna be their most expensive one, but yet already they are proving that sneakers don't need to cost thousands of dollars. The sneaker actually ended up just being a sample model but yet sneaker buyers were very excited and tempted it's release. It's tough to say whether or not it was worth it, but yet, some collectors may want to add it still to their collection. They could also probably be willing to pay good money for the somewhat rare AJ 11 Blackout.

#2 - Nike Air Mag

Ha, I was actually surprised to see this shoe on the market. I know the shoe is of a very great caliber. The sneaker has all the hype and all the backstory that any sneaker fan would know. They are a super great boot that is just beyond any sneaker boot ever made and many adore them but yet they are still one of the most iconic sneaker boots in the market today.

The Nike Air Mag is based off the Back To The Future design that Marty McFly wore and only a limited 1510 sneaker boots originally hit a charity auction over them. The sneaker boots that makes all the craze had it's proceeds go to the Michael J Fox foundation. The sneaker boots only cost as much as they do today due to the limited supply that is around and the super high interest and demand for them. They are actually so demanded that the Nike Sportswear company is dropping yet another release sometime in 2016! Millions will probably be made yet again for the Nike Co. and more. Sneaker Freaker reported that the very first Air Mag put up was won by Tinie Tempah, a english rapper, who apparently earned 50% resell value and 50% back of charity donation, Tempah pretty much bought a free shoe. Sneaker Freaker closed it out by saying that Tempah was definitely not stupid. The statement is actually pretty spot on.

#3 - Air Yeezy 2 Red October

Okay, I don't know a lot about the Nike Air Yeezy 2's other than that they are ridiculously expensive and that they are actually another one of Nike's more higher demanded shoe. Originally retailing for $2,000, the Air Yeezy 2 Red October along with some of it's other model colorways have now towed in thousands more than just the retail price. Talk about a sneaker that is definitely worth copping, holding on to for a little bit, and then reselling. The Yeezy 2 is probably one of the most valuable-resellable sneaker's ever! eBay's auction block is the king of the court for many that hold authentic pairs that people are willing to pay the big bucks for. There are other sites such as Kixify that also have many dealers throwing them around. However, I don't agree with the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Price tag that Sneaker Freaker attached to it, saying the sneaker rakes in at around $17,000,000.

#4 - Gold-dipped Nike Dunks

Nike Dunks are actually somewhat of a common sneaker that usually doesn't cost many people thousands of dollars, however, the gold-dipped colorway Dunks have made that irreplacable with their price tag. This was actually the first time I ever heard about these and I know there is people out there just like ("BRUH, THESE HAVE BEEN OUT SINCE I WAS 2 MAN! HOW YOU NO HERE ABOUT IT?!?!?") . Well, it is and believe it or not, these things just look absolutely crazy! I mean, butt naked crazy is all I can say for these. Probably one of the dopest looking sneakers I have ever seen, this shoe takes the cake. Ringing in at only a 6,000 price tag is actually not as much as I thought these would go for, however, for some that amount is still a major drop in their monetary standings.

#5 - Undeafeated x Air Jordan 4

These are ones that I have heard a little about. The Air Jordan 4 itself is hot enough that it plays it's own fine market and trust me, they have some really nice colorways on them shoes. Those are definitely a pair that anyone could always just know that they are a great shoe. However, the Undefeated AJ 4 adds a whole new statement to that idea. Hitting the price mark of $15,000, they make their original colorways of the White Cement, Grey Cement and White & Black Cement colors just look that much more affordable if you didn't think so already. This is an absolutely absurd price for these AJ 4 and I don't care if a sneaker is known as "deadstock" which is a term that is used by some to know that a sneaker has either A. Never been worn, B. Brand new in box and off the shelf type condition. No sneaker should ever cost more than a few hundred dollars. Now, I know that if it's a celebrity shoe and all these other things then these shoes have a little more value. But that's not a lot to say about mostly every sneaker ever made!

#5 - Bronze Air Jordans

I didn't get to see the exact model name attached to these however, yet again another sneaker that was taken and somebody though it would just look really great if they through it in yet another material that would just really hit the spot. Well, they weren't too wrong but yet, they didn't make it that big of a impact. Many probably look at this sneaker as another crazy designed sneaker of some unbeknownst reason. Yet, is the sneaker great enough that it deserves it's 2,250 dollar tag? Well, yet again. I sorta take my statement back from the Air Jordan 11 Blackout and which I said that "yet, they are proving that sneakers still don't need to cost thousands of dollars,". I was wrong. This shoe is definitely shining that statement.

Honorable mentions to this list included sneaker freaker's

Diamond Encrusted Air Force 1 Socal : $50,000
Air Jordan 10 & 12 OVO : 20,000 and 100,000
Michael Jordan Air Jordan 12's Game Worn Sneakers : 104,000
