In case you never heard of them, The Derek Jeter Jordan Collection was released October 14, 2014. Sneakers there were anywhere from $120-160 dollars for the different shoes. This Air Force 1 Jeter we will be talking about is probably one of the more famous and better ones of the Collection. It's actually a pretty rare find and I just seen a unautographed pair of these on eBay for $600. I don't know if they sell for that much but maybe they are pretty rare and those are a select few who have them.
The sneaker is a very touch design of the New York Yankees for the great former Yankee Derek Jeter was. Derek Jeter was known as the face of the Yankees for the many years he was there. Jeter continues to be a well respected person and known athlete. Derek has gone on to do many fantastic things even though he's only been gone from baseball for just a short time. Derek's well known Player Tribune is actually getting much attention from himself and many athletes that are currently and formerly in their respected professions talking. The Captain sure has brought himself a great deal of success. Being considered as one of the better Yankees of all time and probably one of the greatest shortstops to play the game, Derek was the role model and player every one looked up to and kids wanted to be.
It's no wonder why Nike represented Jeter so highly with this classic sendoff sneaker from the Air Force 1 model. Take a look for yourself.

Thanks for reading and hopefully you enjoyed this throwback sneaker from 2014. This was a pretty cool article to do for these sneakers and I thought it would be a good fit to give something a little "retro" to throw back to. Thanks for reading and catch you in the next article.
