Fake Sneakers: The Good, The Bad & The Dirty

Fake Sneakers are not a new idea. Every collector knows about them, every shoe enthusiast and every sneaker head has at least maybe heard the term at least once. It's a term that is frowned upon by many, deal saving to many and legally binding to others. The fake sneaker game has sure had it's full run of ups and downs and twists and turns. It's time we take a look at it.

Fake sneakers are considered the poor man's game by some, and sometimes, depending on the detail that goes into a fake or replica, that statement could be true. However, like it or not, there has been some very dang good replica's made that many would actually have to have a physical authentic pair in their ownership to be able to spot the little infractions. However, even that sometimes doesn't blow the cover that they may be fake.

Many people believe that money saving teenagers are a likely candidate to have them. It's easy to see why. Many teens don't have a lot of money and if they can buy a decently made replica of a real popular shoe from a brand for not so much, they are probably quick to make the purchase. Really, that's not unreasonable to understand why not. Many people probably do this same tactic because they want something really like the original and think that decent enough ones will do the trick. It's actually scary how some fakes have developed because there has been many that have sometimes been called authentic. That's what your dealing with. Now before in the past, I have owned a pair of fake sneakers before. I actually currently own two fake pairs but garunteed, the rest are all originals and authentic. I made a deal busting save on very popular Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost Low's that are a always highly sought after sneaker.

Many people are infuriated with the idea that some people will even think of wearing fake sneakers, much less look at them. Many say it's a death penalty as soon as you buy one, for some, that holds true. There has been reported incidents where people actually end up killing another person over a fake pair of sneakers. DISCLAIMER: I have never seen or heard truth of this from any reliable or any site firsthand to prove this is a real statement or not. I have heard the story that there has been people killed over fights about fake sneakers. This is extremely notable in the black community. HO NOW, before people throw up the old racism card. Let me explain. I am not trying to say every black person is trouble and that sports and illegal activities or any of those other dumb stereotypes about black people are true or not, but from the stories I have heard that's who is involved. For many it should be no surprise is that there are a good deal of black people into the sneaker hobby. Which by the way, I have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM with! Just to be clear. I think everyone should be able to like whatever the heck they want and not for them to be totally ashamed of it. That's my own outlook.

Anyways, fake sneakers are for many styles of shoes. There are mutliple places that sell them. eBay, DHgate and other sites are famous for this. There is some decent made replica's and there is some not so well done. Usually the more expensive replica's, the better they are made. But however, my Yeezy's didn't cost too much and they are pretty decent. My authentic pairs include Nike Lebron James 828's, Adidas Hackmores, White Nike SB Dunks, A pair of Air Jordan Flights and that's about it. I mean, I am leaving a couple out but I am not hurt about not mentioning them.

Anyways, as you can see. There is a lot of details about the whole ordeal that happens. Hopefully you enjoyed this article and maybe learned a thing or two. Thanks for reading and hope to see you in another article. Thanks!
